I had the idea for this interactive installation while I was sitting in an EEG booth as a subject. Neuroscientific experiments often include asking subjects to press buttons instead of answering verbally. This reminded me of being on hold when trying to reach an operator at a call center—a situation which feels like a test of patience. So, I designed an experiment that should resemble a call to a call center while actually testing patience.

This work was made during the residency at the Embassy of Foreign Artists in Geneva in collaboration with the Human Neuroscience Platform of Campus Biotech and the Fluxum Foundation.
